How To Play With Friends On Minecraft Windows 10

Once you purchase the game, yous will exist able to play with your friends or other players online if you take the same version of Minecraft as the other players.

If your son is existence blocked from playing multiplayer or can add friends. Kindly bank check his Xbox privacy settings and enable the multiplayer and add friends options. Please follow the steps beneath

i. log in your Microsoft account to xbox.com
two. Once signed-in click your contour picture at the upper-right corner. So select Xbox contour.
three. In the Xbox profile click the privacy settings
iv. In the Privacy & online safe highlight your son's profile and then click the "Xbox Ane/Windows 10 Online Condom" tab
five. Scroll down and look for the "You can join multiplayer games" and "You can add friends" option so click allow to enable information technology. Click submit at the lesser of the folio to save the setting.

Note: This is provided that your son is a member of your family grouping. Otherwise, log in using his Microsoft account instead.

what does information technology mean "if you lot take the same version"? Exercise I need to bank check with the other users what version of Minecraft they are using first? Are we saying that a Nintendo Switch user is not the same version as Windows 10 on PC? Or what kind of version are we talking about, tin you give examples of what is and what is not uniform?

It is all rather complicated, I am now not sure whether I purchased the correct version since we did not check with anyone.

Any additional feedback, would be very much appreciated.

Hullo LasvelasUK,

There are two types of Minecraft that y'all can play on Windows PC. One is the Minecraft for Windows and the other is Minecraft Coffee Edition. And the version that tin can cross-platform with the Nintendo Switch is Minecraft for Windows.

If you purchased Minecraft from the Microsft store, it is the Minecraft for Windows edition. And the Java edition is sold from the official Minecraft website.
